We collect little, sell nothing, and say so plainly

What we collect

Scanner submissions. When you scan a site at scan.oxvelo.com, we process the URL you submit in order to fetch and score that page. Scan requests are subject to rate limiting by IP address. We may retain aggregate scan statistics; we do not build profiles of who scanned what.

Contact you initiate. If you email, call, or request a fix package, we receive what you send us and use it to respond and provide the service.

Preferences. Your language and theme choices are stored in your own browser (localStorage) and never leave it.

Infrastructure logs. Our sites and API run on Cloudflare, which processes IP addresses and request metadata to serve and secure the sites, as any host does.

What we don't do

We do not sell or rent personal information. We do not run third-party advertising or tracking pixels. We do not require an account or signup to use the free scanner.

Third parties

Cloudflare (hosting, DNS, security), Google Fonts (typeface delivery). Each processes only what is technically necessary to provide its function.

Data in our published research

The Oxvelo Compliance Report publishes scan scores for publicly accessible websites. This is information about public web pages, not about individuals, and its open-data package (CC BY 4.0) contains no personal information.

Your choices and rights

You can use the sites without providing any personal information. To ask what we hold about you, or to request correction or deletion, write to info@oxvelo.com. Depending on where you live (including the EU/EEA, UK, and California), you may have additional statutory rights; we honor valid requests regardless of geography.
